A Bit of Wisdom (a poem)
by Norman Kozak

Whether you're feeling low, just so-so, or on an emotional yo-yo,

I have a bit of wisdom to bestow to get you back in flow,

radiating a new, special glow.

Negative thought comes to naught, leaving you emotionally wrought

and distraught.

Unfavorable comparisons create inferiority feelings and despair.

Beware!  They add to your body's wear and tear.

Don't look back at what you lack, look forward with an attitude

of gratitude and your life will be one of altitude and magnitude.

It's said, life is a test, a trial by the mile; yet, all the

while, without guile, maintain your dignity and integrity with style.

Ye hear!  Ye hear!  Be of good cheer and to the world yourself you

will endear, not only now but year after year after year.

To life say YES!  Think about yourself less and serving others

more.  Still time for you, life the eagles, to soar.
